Laughs

For LL in the UK

I laughed and laughed to myself LL after we parted.

The reasons?

The main one was the man you had acquired back in March 2005, his size and his stature. I knew you liked 'a man with a little flesh on his bones', but you took it to the extreme there. Another reason - the fact that after you left me in such a cold and dispassionate manner, when you returned my ring (but not the rest!) I decided to teach you a lesson about the way you treat people.

I 'played' with you LL, to make sure you learned something from your actions. As you know actions have consequences and I decided to lay some on for you. You knew virtually nothing about me or my background, just the stuff I decided to reveal. Consequently, when you decided to try and stop me, you had no idea that I was 'protected' by the State.

One other reason that made me laugh, was my wealth. You saw just a small part of what I was worth. I had been investing and dealing in property ever since I left the Navy in the late seventies. You had no idea what you were walking away from.

Finally, the other laugh I had at your expense, was the fact that after you played away with your American friend, as revealed by your conversation, a drunken one at that, I had been seeing other women right from the last week of March 2004 starting with Sarah. You had broken my trust that early in our relationship, so I felt free to ensure I had something to fall back on. For me, it was far easier than for you.

The last laugh was always mine LL. You lived and live in your small world. Mine is and always was far more expansive. I have to say you have missed out on a very good life these last nearly fifteen years but that was your foolish choice. Me, I've never looked back.

With that last remark, in the penultimate paragraph above, in mind, click through to my latest blogs as a reminder of how far ahead I was, and you didn't have a clue:
