For LL in the UK
During my travels over the last few months, I have decided that you have read enough of my 'exploits'.. With that in mind I am posting just one more lengthy narrative and will leave you to read that. There is a back catalogue of course, so if you feel the need I will leave all the past ones there. I'm not going away however and will continue to post photographs from my fairly vast portfolios.
Apart from the above, I have a taster book excerpt for you, which I will post. It's a departure from my normal genre and my agent thinks it will sell well, not that I need the money of course.
Onto other things. I see you attended a restaurant that made me think of that old Drifters song 'Under the Boardwalk'. More food and drink, two things you really don't need. Looking at your old photos from 2003-2005, I really don't recognize you now. Rather 'gone to pot', haven't you....unlike me. Whatever happened to the 'keep fit' woman.
I am here in New Hampshire until early May, when I will be coming to your side of the Pond. My summer travels beckon. I will be in the UK, France, Spain briefly, Italy and Greece (Skyros), not necessarily in that order. I have a lot of catching up to do with my many friends. Some are quite desperate to see me after such a long break ... It always amuses me that after we parted you said I didn't have many friends, how little you knew LL, how little you knew, on that subject and many others.
That reminds me of some of the barbed comments you made after that event, too. Do you know how I viewed them and saw them? No? I'll enlighten you.
What they told me was that you had made the wrong decision, realized it and decided that, having burnt your bridges with me, you may as well say a few things to make the matter final and justify it to yourself. It reeked of your insecurity, of course and the fact you realized that you had passed on the best 'opportunity' in your fractious life. Something like that is a bitter pill to swallow, especially when you see how different our lives are now.
As I will be sort of signing off with this blog. If you ever felt like putting matters right, I am still at my msn email address.
